Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the GarrisonActual website and platform (“Service”), operated from Michigan, USA. By joining our waitlist or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to join the waitlist or use the Service.

2. The Service

GarrisonActual provides tools for military-simulation (“milsim”) gaming communities: rosters, personnel records, operations, documents, and related features. The Service is a hobbyist community tool and is not affiliated with any real-world military organization.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; harass, threaten, or harm others; upload malicious code; attempt to breach security or access data that isn’t yours; scrape or overload the Service; or use it to organize real-world violence or any illegal activity. Milsim content must remain clearly fictional and lawful.

4. Units & user content

Units (“tenants”) and their members are responsible for the content they create — rosters, documents, forum posts, and unit websites. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for unit content and are not liable for it. Unit operators are responsible for their members’ conduct and for complying with applicable law.

5. Operator rights

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service; set and change pricing/tiers; and suspend or remove accounts or units that violate these Terms or abuse the Service. During pre-launch, features and availability may change and waitlist enrollment does not guarantee access.

6. No warranty & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarrisonActual is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content created by units or members. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (or $0 during pre-launch).

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
