GarrisonActual (“we,” “us”) operates the GarrisonActual platform and the garrisonactual.com website. We are based in the State of Michigan, USA. This policy explains what we collect through our pre-launch waitlist and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect the information you submit: your email address, and optionally your name/callsign, gaming platform (PC, PS5, Xbox), the game(s) you play, whether you intend to join or create a unit, and the tool you currently use. We also record the date you signed up and whether you confirmed your email.

How we use it

We use this information solely to (a) send you a confirmation email (double opt-in), (b) send you occasional updates about our launch, and (c) understand demand so we can prioritize features. We do not sell your data.

Email & CAN-SPAM

Our emails comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act: we identify ourselves, include a valid physical postal address, and provide a working unsubscribe link in every message. We only email you after you opt in, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Email is delivered through our processor, Resend(Resend, Inc.), which processes your email address to send these messages on our behalf.

Data sharing

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate — currently our hosting/database provider (Supabase) and our email provider (Resend) — and only as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention & your rights

We keep waitlist data until launch or until you ask us to delete it. You have the right to access or delete your information and to unsubscribe at any time. To exercise these rights, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us at privacy@garrisonactual.com. We will delete your data on request.

Security

Waitlist data is stored with access restricted to our operators; it is not publicly accessible. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
